Women in unity

International Women’s Day 2018 marks a special day not just in the celebration and recognition of all that women have achieved but also for all those involved at the Well Women’s Centre. After months of community collaboration and feedback, board input and hours of behind the scenes work, we are excited to reveal a new look for the organisation.

Consisting of a new website, newly created logo and branding in addition this image “Women in unity” was created to mark this milestone. Created in collaboration by local photographer and designer Natasha Brady (Telling Designs) and Sarah McEwan (recent member of our board and from Glamour and the Dust),“Women in unity” captures the essence of the centre.

The Well Women’s Centre in its inception and the 28 years that followed, has been a place of connection and support for many women local to the Hedland area  as well as those passing through. The organisation has brought women together from many walks of life in friendship, support and in unity. Representing the strength and possibilities when women come together, it was only fitting that this image be released on International Women’s Day.

With a special thanks to all that were involved including the amazing models, we are thrilled and proud to have this powerful image displayed within the centre.  Pop in and have a look.
