Centre
Hedland Well Women’s Centre (HWWC) located in South Hedland WA, is a not-for-profit organisation for women living and working in the Hedland area.
We provide health promotion, prevention and treatment services in the area of women’s health. Our Centre operates under the values of a social model of health addressing inequities for women.
Services include women’s clinic, counselling, preventative health and wellbeing programs, social and community events, support groups and advocacy.

Job description
- Contract, Full Time with option for permanency
- South Hedland, Pilbara, WA
Reporting to the Health Promotion Manager, the Health Promotion Assistant provides assistance to successfully design and deliver Health Promotion Activities based on the Social Model for Health.
The role includes providing support to develop, plan and deliver Health Promotion activities which reduce incidence of disease in our community and raise awareness of prevention, screening and healthy lifestyle opportunities.
